Jev is a Certified Public Accountant who began her career with a top auditing firm in the Philippines, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
Early in her career, she was exposed to high-level financial operations and rigorous industry standards, experiences that sharpened her discipline, attention to detail, and strategic thinking. Even while building her corporate credentials, Jev was already nurturing her entrepreneurial ambitions, running her business part-time and steadily learning the realities of building something of her own.
After completing her auditing stint, she transitioned to a private IT company in search of greater flexibility and expanded income opportunities. This move was both strategic and intentional. Beyond professional growth, she viewed this chapter as a way to generate the capital and stability needed to invest in her growing business ventures.
Rather than settling into corporate comfort, Jev used her employment as a stepping stone — channeling her earnings, skills, and network into building long-term entrepreneurial opportunities that would eventually shape her larger vision.
This chapter came to an unexpected halt when she was laid off — a moment that could have easily shaken her confidence and long-term plans. The stability she had worked hard to build suddenly disappeared, leaving her at a crossroads.
But instead of seeing it as a failure, Jev chose to see it as redirection. What could have been a major setback became the defining moment that pushed her to fully commit to entrepreneurship.
